Sunday, October 15, 2017 Bethlehem Lutheran Church The Minnesota Symphonic Winds returns to this wonderful sanctuary to present great works that have stood the test of time as well as new works that represent the musical trends of today. The Toccata Marziale of Vaughan Williams, Elgar’s Nimrod from Enigma Variations, and the monumental Lincolnshire Posy of Grainger will be counterbalanced by Mahr’s They Sing of Love and David Maslanka’s Give Us This Day. Additionally, a chamber ensemble will present Richard Strauss’ Serenade for Winds, Op. 7. |
