Principal Conductor

Dr. Timothy Mahr has served as principal conductor of the Minnesota Symphonic Winds since 1999. A professor of music at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, Mahr conducts the St. Olaf Band, teaches courses in composition, music education, and conducting, and supervises instrumental music student teachers.

Associate Conductor

Paul Kile has been a music educator for 25 years and has been with Edina Public Schools since 2004. In 2010, Mr. Kile assumed the role of Concert Band Director at Edina High School. Mr. Kile has taught at the collegiate level (Bethel College), was co-conductor of the Greater Twin Cities Junior Wind Symphony, and is former Principal Conductor of the Calhoun-Isles Community Band.

Becoming a Member
